Oh and in the floor space dd likes to use it for play, so we make up different scenes there depending on the day.. sometimes it's a class room, and other times it's a beach. Very fun!
I have FINALLY finished (mostly) our doll closet. All of the clothes are put into a gallon size ziplock bag along with their extra's (hair ribbons and sometimes shoes etc) I tried hanging them up without the bags but found I likes the smoother look of having everything the same size by putting them all in the bags.
I have all of our hats and such on the shelves under the clothes, and ag packages for *later* on the top shelves

Wow! Looks very organized!
That looks wonderful!! But may I make one suggestion? I keep all my outfits in zip-lock style bags, too. Keep a bit of the zip area open so air circulates and your clothing and material stays the way you want it. It looks like your bags are zipped up tight. Someone else gave me that bit of info a while ago.
The closest really is great!

I think that should be fine unless it hangs in such a way and forms a bit of a seal and blocks air getting to the material.
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Ahh ok, no I cut a nice big V to allow air flow, so the bag actually sits down a little lower on the hanger and does not form a seal. Thanks for the tip though I think that should be fine unless it hangs in such a way and forms a bit of a seal and blocks air getting to the material.
How did you bag the outfits up like that?
I've wanted to do that but dI don't know how!

oh...my...GOSH! That is one amazing closet!!!!!!!!! I am just simply in awe on how many people on this board are true AG fans! I have been an AG fan for about 12 years now...I am a college student, and can't buy much...but I wish I could!
I have this little clothes rack my mom bought me at a craft store. Made specifically for American Girl Doll clothes. It's already getting full...I had to transfer all my AGOT clothes into the big doll trunk so I could just display the Historical Doll clothing only. Still...I need more room.
I really wish I had your closet w/ all that doll stuff. I would be in heaven!
